Chile 15. Punta Arenas 2. Los Pinguinos

We were very happy spending an hour with 55,000 breeding pairs of Magellanic Penguins on Isla Magdalena on the Magellan Straits. Luckily the weather was calm for the five hour trip!

I"ve heard about these penguins - a long way to go to see them - I think the cruise ships like to stop and take tourists to see these!
