I love the picture, and I understand all your information except "1904 Lumiere." I know the Lumieres pioneered motion pictures, but I don't know the "1904" reference. I would like to learn though.
So pretty. The bird is definitely what draws the viewer into the photo. Like the color in the tree and the blue sky background that highlights the bird.
The Lumiere brothers developed Autochrome, an early color development method, in 1904.
