Thank You eBay!
The left is a photo of a Frida Kahlo painting from the sale of a Chicago newspaper's stock archive.
The right is a Frida on canvas; of course, it is not original. The canvas is in fair shape. I think I paid $25 for it.
I never left the apartment today, so I shot what was staring at me.

@deu49097@susale@cejaanderson@aglennc@yogisue My walls are white. I wish I could have eliminated the glare from the open, sunny window, but oh well. I have been having a hellish time at work; trouble, gotta get the union involved. My anxieties of late are man-made. Confronting the problems, my art & TM have been somewhat of a salve. Still loathe the idea of going to work tomorrow....
So sorry to read about the work related problems...it's a shame to waste even one good day in life... I'm sure you're quite enthused about your marvelous purchases, however! How I used to love eBay "back in the day"...too much so...bad addiction! This sort of purchase was the hook that had you coming back for more!
I so agree that art can be a good way to work through rough times. As you know, I've used my project to help express my grief these days. I hope your day was not as bad as you were dreading and that the union can come through for you.
@jrambo001 Set aside a nest egg, stay healthy, and you'll be amazed at how much free time and good fun there is to be had in retirement... It wasn't always easy getting here, but it was a good reward...
