Either people had extremely long legs in the 18th century, or there are some stairs missing from this doorway. This is - or, at least, was - the side entrance to the Masonic Temple in Warren, RI, built in 1798. At some point, I'll show the entire building since it really is a beautiful structure. For now, though, we'll have to be content with the door.
I kept the post processing extremely simple today. I used a crisp filter in Topaz Adjust to accentuate the texture, and then used a slight levels adjustment for contrast. The colors and texture were such that I didn't need to apply either a photo filter or a saturation adjustment.
Thanks, everyone! I really enjoyed all the comments about the secret steps.
