It was raining off and on this morning, so when I headed to the Roger Williams National Monument today I was thinking of getting a shot of rain hitting empty picnic tables. Instead, there was a brief lull in the rain and this businessman was spending a quiet lunch reading. The serenity of this park creates a comfortable refuge from the hustle of the surrounding city, and with the warm weather now on the wane the opportunity to relax in the park at lunch is one not to be missed.
Post processing started with a simple pop filter in Topaz Adjust. I then adjusted the adaptive exposure, contrast, brightness, strength, and detail boost sliders. In PSE I applied a slight levels adjustment followed by a deep blue photo filter.
