Small bluefish are traveling up the coastal rivers in Rhode Island. Whenever a school passes by, smaller fish go into a bit of a frenzy and are seen leaping out of the water in an attempt to escape something a bit higher on the food chain than they are. This gull caught one of the leapers and brought it to these rocks to enjoy a bit of Sashimi (i.e. raw fish.) He did keep a close eye on me, presumably to ensure that I didn't have designs on his lunch. I haven't been able to identify the fish, though, so if any of you are fishermen, please let me know if you recognize it.
Post processing was entirely in Topaz Adjust. I applied a brilliant warm filter and then adjusted the adaptive exposure, contrast, and adaptive saturation sliders. I also adjusted the strength and detail boost sliders. The only PSE adjustment was a crop to enlarge the image a bit.
