I love fishing boats. I've never seen a "new" fishing boat - I'm convinced they are manufactured with rust and barnacles - and they all have wonderful lines and textures that are missing from just about every other kind of sailing vessel. This beauty docked at the Warren Town Wharf is no exception. From what I was told, it weathered Hurricane Sandy moored to this dock. The owner is giving it a thorough cleaning, but it survived unscathed and is ready for action.
Post processing started with a classic filter in Topaz b&w FX. I adjusted color sensitivity, boost black, boost white, adaptive exposure, and contrast. In PSE I added a levels adjustment and a sepia photo filter.
