There are several llama and alpaca farms in Rhode Island, and I set out today to hopefully capture a photograph at one of them. As you can see, I succeeded. This shot was taken at the Dandy Acres Llama Farm in Glocester. The three in the shot are alpaca, not llama, but they were in an interesting spot for the photo and none of them seemed camera shy. These alpaca are an excellent source of wool, and the farm has a number of hands-on activities by appointment. I'll likely revisit this farm around shearing time since I suspect that could prove quite photogenic.
Post processing started with a brilliant warm filter in Topaz Adjust. I then adjusted adaptive exposure and contrast. A slight levels adjustment was added in PSE.
