Outdoor Fun

With clear skies, temperatures in the 70s, and a light breeze, I headed to the East Bay Bike Path in Barrington for today's photo. I knew there would be folks fishing from this bridge overlooking the Barrington River, and with the warm temperatures, it was a safe bet that there would be folks biking long the bike path. The concept I had in mind for the photo is precisely what you see in today's photo. It's rare that concept and reality manage to coincide, but today it happened. The number of bikers on the path was almost to weekend levels, today. The number of fishermen were down, though, possibly because of that ridiculous fence they installed, presumably to prevent fishing line to get tangled with any boats that may pass under the bridge. Boat traffic on this side of the bridge is extremely rare, though, so I'm not sure just how cost effective it was to install the fence.

Post processing started with a brilliant cold filter in Topaz Adjust. I then adjusted adaptive exposure, regions, and contrast. A levels adjustment was added in PSE.
