Hand Trucks by kannafoot

Hand Trucks

I wandered around downcity for a bit at lunch. I've always liked this little gateway bridge across the river, and today I decided to wait for something interesting to photograph using the gateway as a frame. I didn't have long to wait. When I saw these two gentlemen push hand trucks across the bridge, I composed my shot and waited for them to walk into view. They are starting to setup for this weekend's Narragansett Indian Pow Wow at the Roger Williams Memorial. Given the heat and humidity, today, I don't envy them their job.

Post processing started with a classic filter in Topaz B&W FX. I adjusted color sensitivity sliders, adaptive exposure, boost black, boost white, regions, contrast, and details. A levels adjustment and sepia photo filter were added in PSE.

Here's the high res version in Smugmug: http://kannafoot.smugmug.com/Photo-Challenges/PAD2013/i-JHbC9dd/0/XL/2013%2007%2016_0011%20copy-XL.jpg
Strikes me funny the hand trucks are empty and they are out for a stroll

@wadazomo Hmmm. A great way to avoid work is to carry something and look busy. You may be onto something here, Dave!
