I went downcity for today's photo, and found this scene almost immediately. The two teens are part of a Providence Outreach program that is volunteering at the Roger Williams National Memorial. They spent this afternoon pulling weeds from the walkways by hand. The task sounds tedious and they look suitably bored. I decided not to ask why they didn't just use Roundup and eliminate the manual aspect of weeding.
Post processing started with a classic filter in Topaz B&W FX. I adjusted adaptive exposure, boost white, regions, and contrast. A levels adjustment and a sepia photo filter were added in PSE.
