I really wanted to do this in black and white, but unfortunately I just could not get the sky to cooperate. I finally decided to stick with the color version. For today's photo, I went downcity intending to get a black and white of some of the interesting architecture. It was just one of those days where nothing really clicked, though - no pun intended. This photo of the RI State House was a last-minute "just in case" safety shot, and it's the one I ended up using. Ah, well. We all have off days, I guess.
Post processing started with a brilliant warm filter in Topaz Adjust. I then adjusted adaptive exposure, contrast, and protect highlights. A levels adjustment was added in PSE.
