This couple may be sharing a bench at Lippitt Park in Providence, but they appear to be worlds apart. At first I thought the gentleman on the left was watching the activity around the fountain, but he wasn't. He was just staring off into the distance towards the booths that lined the southern side of the weekly Farmer's Market. As a street photographer, I found the scene irresistible.
Post processing started with a neutral greyscale filter in Topaz B&W FX. I adjusted color sensitivity sliders, adaptive exposure, regions, brightness, contrast, boost black, boost white, and protect highlights. A levels adjustment and a sepia photo filter were added in PSE.
