On final approach

An RNLAF F16 Fighter jet has been placed on a roundabout between the village of Volkel and Volkel Air Base (NL) to symbolize the connection between the base and the village.
It's a decommissioned jet, all weapon systems and the ejector seat have been removed, so basically it's just the shell, still an impressive looking machine.
Very cool! I've seen something like this on a roundabout in France. It's so eye-catching.

it is effective for sure. You do have a quite advanced camera, do you have any editor tools? Perhaps increasing the "shadows" content a little would give definition to the "black?"
Also, personally, and others might disagree, the "pokies" on the bottom of the random bare trees might be more effectively cloned out?

Nicely shot with the sun behind it

@frankhymus I do all my editing in LR and PS CC (bet you can't tell there were 2 street lamps in this image). This was how I envisioned the image, the fighter jet as a dark machine against the sky, leaving just enough detail in the shadow. For me the trees give it a feeling of a low flying plane. I do appreciate your comments but this is how I envisioned this image.
