It's amazing how fast this Cycad is opening.
We keep the netting on it because the possums keep eating the small ferns we have planted around the base.

Looks like warm sunshine helps... now if it just had our rain as well.... This is interesting to watch it grow.

Look at that! What a wonderful plant, the growth is amazing! You should have a marker stick to monitor the height, like you do for your kids growth on the wall!

It's going to be stunning when it's fully opened Lois...looks so beautiful at this stage but I know cause we have one how ouch they are once open...that'll keep your possums at bay :)
