It's Snowing

Not a great shot but this was on top of Independence Pass this summer, August 25th. We hit a snow storm at the top and could barely see to pull into the parking lot. It only lasted about 15-20 minutes and then it cleared. But it amazed me the number of people that got out without coats to walk up the trail.
Nicely captured - I'm ready for cool weather, but not snow!

I am definitely not ready for winter and snow - but this shot does bring that shot of reality to me.

A great capture of the falling snowflakes and snowy scene even if it has arrived early.

Yep, it could snow in Colorado at any time of the year. Love the big flakes

Independence pass is at 12,000 ft (3.65K). I'm certainly glad the snow was relegated to the high country! Wonderful shot of those big flakes falling.
