This is Ash Soan playing the drums. You may not have heard of Ash - but you've probably heard his playing, at some point. (He has played for Adele, Will Young, The Producers, Cee Lo Green, James Morrison, Del Amitri and Robbie Williams, amongst others!)
Ash is a very big influence for me, and someone whom I really look up to, admire, and try to emulate in my own career. This is the second time I have seen him play at a "Drum Clinic", and each time has blown me away.
I am using this as my "Get Pushed" challenge for this week, which was about long exposure and movement. I actually had something really cool planned for this challenge, but time ran away from me, and I never got a chance to do it, so I am using this instead - even though this is just an iPhone shot, I think it captures the movement as Ash plays really nicely.
