Facts:
1. 'Thesaurus' derives from the word 'treasury'
2. In German, the equivalent would be the wonderful Wortschatz = the treasure of words. Doesn't that sound wonderful?
3. In my language, we have just a plain word, similar to 'vocabulary' or 'dictionary', but no such construction to denote the treasure that the words are.

Do you mean which letter did I reach reading the Thesaurus, @30pics4jackiesdiamond ? Or the page? :D
(i think i;m smart)
But a professor of mine always repeated the following phrase in courses: "Neither is the dictionary a bad book to read."

Lovely narrative. As a youngster I used to love watching 'Call my Bluff', a television quiz show where contestants had the guess the correct definition of obscure words. I've loved words and reading ever since.
I use the German dictionary very seldom...so must easier to use google.
I had a great laugh, reading your comment to Diana and for me. Still laughing when I think of it...bite, after all she ' my dentist ' has her hand in your mouth. priceless!
Thank you very much, @kvphoto@johnfalconer@tinley23@linnypinny@ricksnap@bruni and @ludwigsdiana @bruni and @ludwigsdiana you are very kind.
On a philosophical aspect, it occurred to me that it is quite a contradiction to use a thesaurus for the minimal challenge. I mean, a thesaurus is anything but minimal :D Don't give me any credit, it was not planned. It was a 'happy accident' and it occurred to me post factum. And maybe it is also far-fetched... But in my head it all makes sense. I swear!

Thank you very much, @pyrrhula. Woordenschat surely sounds like wortschatz. This is very interesting.
