Today is ANZAC Day; a day where we remember all the fallen diggers from the Australian and New Zealand Army Corp who gave their lives Gallipoli - as well as other wars right up to the present day. This is a very important day for most Aussies and New Zealanders alike as we band together to remember also the ones who haven't come home yet.

@Weezilou@weshook@beteljooz@miraries@margielarriva thank you all. I've got other badges, but this one is the best-looking one of the lot. However, it's from last year as this year, I didn't see the Legacy people out selling them at the usual shopping centres.
Neither have I ever seen one like it...its beautiful..we et to buy plastic pins unfortuntely they don't stay put long enough..always come off and before you know you lost it.
@bruni this one has a butterfly clip on the back; so it stays put better than the others I have. I bought this one last year as I had the money for it and will wear it when I don't see the Legacy people around. It is a lovely pin; and a pretty one I won't get rid of.
@loey5150@highway266@bruni thank you all for your lovely comments. This pin was from last year - when I had a little more money on me fortunately - and I didn't want to have something that I could throw away after a while. I wanted some I could keep because it was lovely too.
This year, I didn't see any of the RSL people around selling them; so I used this one from last year.
