Over the last week, I've had a Kookaburra come to my back fence for a feed of Lawn Grubs. He was happy to search for them and just sit there and let me take photos.
Well, today, when I arrived back from shopping, I found him on the remnants of my old clothesline sunning himself. He stayed there for about half and hour just enjoying the sun - and me taking plenty of photos of him - and then suddenly he was gone. But he came back and sat on the fence for a while until a Noisy Minor Bird came along and picked on him... as they always do.
I think he likes my place because there's plenty of lawn grubs and I'm not out to hurt him. Plus I don't mind him being there anyway.
Writer, poet, artist and prolific reader.... that's me.
I'm a collector of books, vinyls, coin purses and strange handbags... that's me too.
Otherwise, I love...
