Over the weekend, we were told that Daniel Morcombe's killer was found and arrested. After eight years of searching, his family must be relieved to know the end of their search is near.
Today, we have been asked to wear something red in Daniel's memory. I couldn't find anything red (as being a redhead, I don't normally own anything like that); so as I walked out the door with my camera slung across me in its case, I picked up some poppies from ANZAC Day and tied them to the strap as they're red.
So, these are for you Daniel... may you Rest In Peace
Writer, poet, artist and prolific reader.... that's me.
I'm a collector of books, vinyls, coin purses and strange handbags... that's me too.
Otherwise, I love...
@miata2u@digitalrn@cmt2812 thank you all for your kind comments. It was a shock to hear when he disappeared those years ago; and hard as the years passed when he wasn't found. Now that the end of the search is near, Daniel's family will feel relieved to finally lay him to rest and be able to grieve properly and start their lives over.
