Today, I went out to finalise my layby at a music/dvd store, buy my meds and get a few things before my last grocery shop for the year. And it was a lovely hot day to get out there too.
On my way to the bus stop, I found a house where their tree was overhanging the fence with these lovely bunches of tiny pink flowers on them! I took a few photos and found this one had the best colour. Effects done on Picnik.
I also rescued a small Kingfisher from hurting himself as he trapped himself inside the shopping centre. He kept flying into the K-Mart sign. So, I walked over, cornered him (found he was very flustered and tired) and picked him up, got bitten for my trouble and I took him outside while I chatted to him... once outside, I let him go. He flew into another shop sign before realising he was outside and he flew away. Poor little guy!
