Today, I was out the door early to be at a writers' meet-up by 10am at The Coffee Club at Springwood. I had a blast there talking to fellow writers and like-minded people who enjoyed the written word; and even got to buy a book from one of them as well as talked about my book review blog (My Reading List which is listed on Google).
I was fortunately a five minute walk from Mum and Dad's place, so didn't have far to go to go and visit them too.
Writer, poet, artist and prolific reader.... that's me.
I'm a collector of books, vinyls, coin purses and strange handbags... that's me too.
Otherwise, I love...
@digitalrn Oh... no, that's not a sundae... that's an ice coffee. I know it looks like a sundae; and believe me, it tastes like one too... but that's how they're made there.
There's one place in the city called 'Rapture' that makes one of *the* best ice coffees I've ever come across! No ice cream, no cream... just good, delicious, well-made coffee... so good you don't need sugar. :)
@cmt2812 Aaah! Rapture is off Boundary Street. You go to the Lizard and walk up the side street from it. The little bohemian shop is on the left at the end of the block... next door is a very cool shop full to the brim with crystals; well worth checking them out! :D

The Coffee Club was a place I haven't been to in a long time; and it was a morning of fun and laughter amongst like-minded people. It's been a long time since I've been around other writers where I can talk about what I'm passionate about. :D
