I won!

Yep! I was out at a Melbourne Cup Lunch at a friends' house and they had a sweep-stakes. I won there - $48 - and then at TAB (where you place bets for horseracing) I also won and same amount again! How's that for a good day of the Melbourne Cup.

On a more sombre note... this was my first Melbourne Cup without Little Miss Stevie. I was a little sad and upset - just quietly to myself - this morning... but I am happy to have this money in my pocket.
