Fantastic image, Lisa. I love how the fence looks relatively straight but the shadow follows the line of the path. The mountains in the background add depth.
But where's the giant pansy? :D I'm enjoying the slight similarity of the fence with your photo of yesterday. I love this light, it gives such a glow to the dried grasses and creates a ladder-shadow for you to climb.
Gorgeous these shadows which lead you, together with the fence into the picture.... Love the light ! Wanna be there for a walk and reverie. This is a Fav for me
@anwan Ha ha! Loved your comment, Anwan. I didn't notice the similarity between the two shots but you are right that it's there! Too bad I lack Photoshop skills. I could make this shot extra special with the addition of a monster pansy!
@emrob Thank you so much, Mandy! Your compliment absolutely made my day. I am still not at a place where I am confident I find a shot so I usually feel a slight bit of desperation about it every day, like my string of good luck will come to an end and I just won't be able to see a thing. It's such a feeling of relief to make it though another day with something I like to post. Do you ever feel that way, too? Anyway, your kind words and your interest in my album are so appreciated and very motivating to me.
what a view! i wish i woke up with this view everyday! wow. this reminds me of my fence shot back in february, but without the fabulous view! absolutely beautiful
@pflaume Hey! We're D5000 sisters! :) I love seeing your shots - you're one of the ones that really motivate me here. But yeah, I feel that way too. Especially when it's not easy getting out and about. I try to drag the little one around, but during the day, my focus is more on fun with him and not seeking out cool shots. So I get stuck at home for shots. So when something jumps out at me, I'm thrilled. But it usually doesn't. lol
