Every year, Sydney puts on a spectacular show of lights and other awesome things. It lasts a few weeks and although it's held in the middle of winter, thousands of people flock to see it.
In fact, it was so busy that Alex and I had to try several dinner places before we found one that actually wasn't completely booked out!
This is my second year of going - I like giving my camera (and her owner!) some exercise :)
FYI - night shifts are over with :) I had 2 across 5 days (one was over a weekend - major suckage!), and I had to attend daytime classes between them (some days starting at 7:30am)... my mind and body were extremely confused for a while there, but it is over and I survived and I will not be putting myself through that ever again. :)
(Well... there is one more night shift in a few weeks' time, but because it is only a few days before my exams, I am fairly sure (at least hoping) they'll let me leave at a reasonable time (at/before midnight) so I can get home and get a good sleep before the days of study that will inevitably follow.)

I don't know how you did it (night shifts and day classes) but you have all my respect for getting through it. Glad you found a restaurant, some free time and got hold of your camera again :)
I have not a frickin clue about this btr thingy, I'm not a good host, will have to look back over them and see what's the norm, is there a list of 'to-do's' somewhere because the list of 'already done's' is pretty extensive.
high five!
@chewyteeth Haha no worries! I'd go back to when I posted the btr challenge originally, and copy/paste that whole slab of text, changing the bits accordingly - dates, description, etc.
Congrats again and if you have any questions let me know :D
thanks
so I've thought of something, when does it need to run from, sunday to sunday? Or shall I post it tonight and let it run till next sunday. Yours is the first thing I've replied to I think so I don't know the etiquette of these things. thanks
Up to you - I just made it up as I went along xD I think 1-2 weeks is a good amount of time to let people take and enter photos, and then a few days to vote :) @chewyteeth
Congratulations on surviving all those shifts and classes too!
high five!
