The model Is superb, especially as it shows the shallow draught of the barges. It's not so noticeable on the barge itself! if either of you ever decide to holiday in Essex be sure to let me know and we can take a trip down the Blackwater on the real Mc Coy. your shot is a big favourite!

Het model is prachtig, vooral omdat het toont de geringe diepgang van de schepen. Het is niet zo merkbaar op de bak zelf! Als een van u ooit besluit om vakantie in Essex moet u laat het me weten en we kunnen een reis langs de Blackwater op de echte Mc Coy nemen. je schot is een grote favoriet!

(on the river Humber you did have an other type of vessel : the Humber Keel )

Hello Pyrrula only just found you due to the reply you gave about the Lissa Solklint, I also sailed on a small Dutch coaster from Delfzyl in the late 1960s called the Hebe Nobel Skipper owner was E A Kruidhof who I believe now has some thing to do with the pilots or traffic on the River Scheldt. Well built model was she built from plans by your self or from a kit ?
