Wheatsheaf Works

Wheatsheaf Works, built in 1891 and was the largest footwear factory in the world, owened by the Co-op. Currently being turned into flats. I go past this building every day and have been waiting for the right light and for me to have my DSLR on me. This is the old clock which still works.
And you had blue sky too. Looks an interesting building - hope it will keep its character.

It's wonderful that they're turning it into flats, rather than ripping it down. Love the warm colour of the building next to the sky.......beautiful :-)

It's good that the building is going to survive albeit with a change of purpose. I love the lines, angles and intersections created by the scaffolding.

It looks great in that light and the scaffolding really adds interest. I reckon they will be lovely appartments.
