Although National Billboard Day (June 1) is relatively new, the concept of using billboards is as old as the ancient Egyptians.

The Cadbury billboard,
A huge chocolate bar with life-size people tearing into it, looks so real from afar. Very effective and attention grabbing marketing that showed up on the streets of Toronto in 2008.
