While I have visited Mingus Mill before but not in the fall when the tree colors were surrounding it. Mingus Mill was built in 1886, this historic grist mill uses a water-powered turbine instead of a water wheel to power all of the machinery in the building. The water flows down a millrace to the mill.It is still a working mill and one can buy cornmeal at the mill. It was working this day as you can see the steam coming from near the door.
