Sunset outside the Bayswater tube station during rush hour... I was very happy to get a sun flare through the window of an iconic London red bus. :) Logistics of room, tube riding, packing and navigation managed, so we are looking forward to some exploring.
Some "props" to our UK friends... we met SO many friendly people today, who were happy to point us in the right direction or explain how the tube ticketing system works. Special applause to a charming and witty customs officer, who just might be a frustrated actor in another life. ;)

My first thought was 'what perfect timing with the shutter button to catch that sunburst through the window'. The 'paint job' on the foreground car is an interesting one.
Gosh. A charming customs officer? I think you struck lucky there and am very glad for you :) What a great shot to start off in London. Hope you get some sleep tonight ;)
Great shot! I've been by that corner--a decade or so ago! I admit that after I admired the sunflare, I did a double-take at the London cab "wrapped up" in advertising. That seems so "off"--My memories from the 4 years I lived in London in the late 1980s and two other visits in the '90s and '00s are of the shiny black taxis. A terrific shot and I'm so glad that you shared it. A Follow and a Fave!
