Thousands of luminaries were lit around the Carter House in Franklin to represent the casualties in the Battle of Franklin. November 30th marked the 153rd anniversary of the battle, which took place on November 30, 1864. The Carter farm office (in the distance) was also lit to highlight the bullet damage to the structure.
