Desperate for something to photograph today, because It’s a cold and sleeting outside I made myself some tea, and thought I’d show you my latest and favorite tea pet. Tea pets are a silly fun part of Gongfu tea ceremony. One is supposed to share your tea with him. I have a different pet for each of my tea sets. I have one pet that will change colors when hot water is poured over him.
This frog performs for me. If you look closely, then you will see that he spews water ! I pour the hot water over him and he spits it out....I don’t know how it works. its just pure silliness, but he makes me laugh !
Of course as I was coming back from putting my camera away, I looked out the front door and I saw probably 20 deer run across the front yard in the snow! Oh timing is everything.
