No, this is not an explosion. It is a flash of lightening.
A couple of days ago, in the evening, I was just about going to switch on the computer when Christine called me from our laundry room which is at roof level to go up to her quickly with the camera. Like the good boy that I am, I quickly obeyed and she said there were continuous flashes of light coming through the clouds. They were lightenings which were so far away that we could not hear the thunder that goes with them. All of them were so faint that the camera couldn’t catch them.
After taking many shots I finally managed to catch this one and am posting it as is. I would have loved to avoid that ugly tower crane but couldn’t. The other objects are water tanks on a neighbour’s roof.
Many thanks for your views and for your comments and fav's on yesterday's picture.
Waw , what a stunning sight , but I disagree with you , the silhouette of the mundane add interest and reality to the image - Love it very much as it is -- FAV
