The Birgu landside fortifications give a great contrast to the yacht marina with many yachts berthed for the Winter.
We had a nice dinner in Birgu in a lovely old house converted into a restaurant while retaining all its old features. We then left to go back to L-Isla (Senglea) where we had our car parked. This is a shot as we walked along the waterfront. On top you can see the l-Birgu fortifications with the first gate I showed in this series.
