This is one of my favourite shots of the day. I took it after we went out of the Barcelona Cathedral to continue on our way. This narrow street, or better alleyway, is on the side of the cathedral. The archway connects the cathedral to a building on the opposite side which is probably the bishops ‘palace (I may be wrong in this). I was unsure which one to post whether in colour or in b&w so I decided to post them both.

A beautifully staged diptych - love the b/w versus the colour version . The b/w shows detail and clarity but to me the coloured version is beautiful and says it all ! fav
Such a pretty street. It's interesting to compare the two: in colour my eye is drawn to the people and buildings beyond, in black and white, I concentrate on the architecture of the arched bridge
So good to see both versions side by side. I love them both two and would be hard pushed to pick one as a favourite. The black and white is so dramatic, yet the colour version gives a warmer feeling.
I really like your B&W and color comparison collage and I think I like the colored one a little better. I like the colors and it seems to give the shot more depth.
