Last Autumn I pinched a small cutting of this lovely small plant from the front of a house not very far away from my house. I nursed it and now it has started to bloom. When I pinched it the flowers were variegated in white and purple. At my house the flowers, till now at least, are of just one colour. The plant is still about 4 inches high but it will grow, I hope. In Maltese we call the plant ‘Stella Maris’ and it is from the geranium family.
