Camera Settings Challenge - Fast Shutter Speed

It's too cold to find too many moving things out there, so I made Anna spin some homemade color guard flags out in a snow storm. (I'm sure the neighbors now think I'm completely crazy.)

These were taken in Tv mode, with ISO set to Auto. At 1/80s the flags were very blurry, but the effect of the snow streaking past is pretty cool. 1/200 was pretty much stopped - though by this point she was kind of like "why am I doing this and is it time to go inside yet?" so she wasn't spinning them all that fast!

Again, the camera chose unexpected settings - upping the ISO instead of lowering the aperture. Interesting!
Smart subject choice. Cute colours against that monotone winter.
