It was a cold, rainy, dreary day, which I spent almost all of at work. By the time I got a chance to pull out the camera it was a cold, rainy, dreary and dark evening. Looking around my messy, dark house, with the toddler running around sans pants...well, there wasn't much inspiration to be had.
So we tried drawing with long exposures and a flashlight. My family was skeptical. But after the first couple of images, suddenly everyone was begging for a turn with the flashlight, and "just one more!" It turned into a very fun family activity, and one that they're already planning to try again. (There's talk of lasers. And glow sticks. And two flashlights at once.)
The general consensus is that this one looks a bit like a dancer wearing a tutu. Drawn by Anna, age 7.
