I'm not posting a photo that I took today. Instead a photo that someone else took of the school children/teachers and my former National Geographic co-worker (Ann Judge - far right) before they boarded their flight that would soon after crash into the Pentagon on 9-11-01.
Ann headed up National Geographic's busy travel office and was one of the most energetic people you'd ever want to meet. I worked with Ann for 20 years and she always found a way to make the right things happen with a smile on her face.
So this is a small tribute on this somber date that nobody lost on 9/11 will ever be forgotten.
Incredible, there are so many stories of that day each unique and sad and heroic all at the same time. Life is fragile and nothing is guaranteed and that is why people who lived their lives like your friend will be missed forever
Oh no, what a great tribute... I'm watching at the moment documentairies about 9/11. I still can't believe that this disaster really happened. Unbelievable... I'm thinking of all the victims...
