The copse beneath these dark clouds is a bit like my day as I too have been under the weather! I've felt dreadful all day, and sitting at my desk all day hasn't helped it.
This was taken looking from Stanford Hill towards Normanton Hills this morning after dropping the kids at school. The sun was rising behind me and lighting the field and copse.
(...intake of breath), that is just beautiful Sean, the way the leading lines take you to that dramatic centre is brilliant. Hope you feel better soon.
The lines converging up the the copse and leading your eye up to those glorious clouds and sky above are great super. Great pov and composition. The light is so good. Lots of bugs around, hope you shake it off.
Thats just so well composed, the tractor lines, the centreing of the copse and lovely sky...it sort of rushes your eye up to the clouds, very clever indeed!.........Feel better soon, its that time of year!! bugs and more bugs!
Sorry you've been under the weather Sean, but it hasn't affected your photography one bit, this is just stunning - sky and field so spacious, and your eye concentrates on the dense mysterious copse wondering what it would be like to venture in.
