We have just got back from a 25 day holiday in Germany and France, and here I am posting a shot from our first day.
We had no internet connection while we were away, so I was unable to upload. I guess I will have to try and catch up a few days at a time over the next few weeks.
We stopped off in Kent on the way down to the Channel Tunnel and had Fish and Chips at Dungeness that evening.
I liked the strata of beach, water and sky in this shot when I saw it. I took a similar shot in France a couple of years ago.

Welcome back - have missed your photos. Brilliant large with the different textures and tones - and, of course, the perfect little sailing boat sailing just where is should sail.
Dungeness is a great place to go. I took one of my favourite photos there. I like the composition, especially with the boat on the horizon, but I think I would prefer it in colour - personal preference, obviously :)
