New Covert silhouette

I know this will not be to everyones liking. I've had a silhouette at New Covert on my list for a while, but needed a clear even coloured sky day. Today that came along. I am aiming to take a shot here on the first of every month, but wanted to get this done for the technique 18 challenge

A bit of work at the farm this morning, off to take this photo and then a bit of shopping in the village. Then, a lazy afternoon watching and listening to sport, before taking Sam to a party tonight.

I like the silhouette and think the tree is an appropriate subject for the very high contrast, but would prefer less totally blank white space. Maybe a gentle crop would help.
