So Many Roots by serendypyty

So Many Roots

I've eventually got to the point where I can put my Nerines, that moved house with us, into the garden. It's so much harder work than when I dug them up in May as they have become a bit pot bound. We had one of us pulling the plant and one pulling the pot to release it. It was definitely a sitcom situation and hard to do when you're laughing so much. The roots were amazing and they were obviously happier in their pots than I imagined. They should be much happier in the ground though and they're just about to flower so job well done!
Your efforts will be rewarded with beautiful flowers.

Whoa! That is definitely a lot of roots! The good thing is they should transplant and survive easily with such a good root structure

It will be worth the effort.

Gardening is hard work. I hope they transplant successfully. I, for one, would love to see them when they bloom.
