Nowadays @shepherdmanswife and I set off together on a dog walk, but later separate as the old ladies, 11 year old Lesia and @shepherdmanswife who’s age it is best unrevealed, follow a shorter route home, leaving younger Tia and not-so-young-but-still-quite-active Shepherdman to enjoy a much longer stroll. Each route presents different photo opportunities, and a few days ago @shepherdmanswife was hoping for open celandines. Her route took them under trees, where the sun-seeking ground hugging celandine flowers stayed tightly closed in the shade. Tia and I, on the other hand, found this specimen clinging to the granite stone wall of the local church yard, a more open aspect which encouraged the flowers to open at least a little.
You get to photograph beautiful flowers my pictures yesterday were snow scenes at my house and near where I work. Enough already. Want to trade maybe Tia would love a romp in the snow.
