Zombie snake

Our Spider ball python is getting ready to shed his skin, it always looks so "zombie like" when the skin is over his eyes, makes for a great photo though

I am so envious, we had a Ball python many years ago and I found him so fascinating! I know exactly what you mean about the transition during shedding and those milky, blueish eyes are somewhat unnerving. Great detail - fav!

So that's why the eyes look like that sometimes? I always wondered. I love how well you captured the texture of his skin. You're so good at bringing out the details and moods in b&w photography

@cjphoto first time I he shed I thought he had died, I jumped up when I went to grab him lol. Thank you for your kind words, im trying to go the month in B&W, its my favorite type of photography.
