Lake Cherful

Continuing my motorcycle ride mini-series which began on Tuesday, my next stop after the abandoned farmhouse (which was my Feb 12 project in case you missed it) was beautiful Lake Cherful in Mountain Park, Georgia. This tranquil lake is near my home and is a wonderful place to slow down and ponder life for a while after an invigorating motorcycle ride.

I always thought it would be nice to live on a lake... very pretty. Love the rock and grasses in the foreground, the little ripple in the water, and the evergreens give a little life to the winter landscape.
