Exercise buddies, the sequel by soboy5

Exercise buddies, the sequel

It has been three months since I've reported on my exercise and healthy eating progress. I've lost another 14 pounds, bringing my total weight loss since December to 35 pounds!

I increased my daily mileage and am up to 6 miles on most days. I wore out my old pair of Asics and replaced them with this pair of Asics Gel Nimbus 14s - they offer a very, very plush ride. Best viewed enlarged.

Lovely photo of very comfortable looking exercise buddies. Love the textures and colours. Well done to lose 35 pounds and get up to 6 miles a day! How did you do that, may I ask?

@angelat Thanks, Angela! I have been building up the mileage gradually and I usually break the daily mileage up into two runs - before breakfast and after dinner. And healthy eating and watching the calories.

@jdr4690 Thanks, Rob. And yes, I am still riding - I love my new Giant Escape.

@lunaksi Thank you!

Well done Danny... keep it up! Can't beat the freedom of just putting on the shoes and going out the door...... I always want to eat more after intense exercise! Now you are up to 6 miles you can increase the mileage of one of those runs per week, nice and slow, and decrease the mileage of another but include some speed or hill repetitions. Make sure you have one rest day per week. Enjoy! Love the photo comparisons .. and look forward to the next update
