In the middle of heavy traffic on Broadway, along comes this horse drawn carriage. I've seen plenty of these carriages in Central Park, but not on a busy avenue with trucks and buses. I felt sorry for the horse, who did not seem to be enjoying the traffic. Best viewed large.
Another city photo that makes me grit my teeth a bit. I wish this poor horse could escape its city life. Also, I remember the rows of tourist trap shops in the area, and this shows it well. Good urban photo.
Despite the traffic that horse looks very spiffy. Poor thing. I'm thinking maybe the people paid extra for a tour around the city from Central Park. Cool capture!
