Thanks Danny, one of my favourite places on this little rock spinning through space, thank you for remembering. It is also one of the first places I photographed when I was in NYC for the first time in the early 90s. Big Fav.
My mom and dad took me there for the first time was I was 17. I'll never forget it. This is really a fabulous capture of that iconic sign along with the flags.
I love Radio City! I went there a few years ago to see the Christmas Spectacular and I was awed by the magnitude of the performance, which included a real camel and ice skating on the stage! Thanks for the memories!!
Oh such a wonderful iconic place. I been there many times, but the one I remember with more excitement was one of the last performances of Frank Sinatra, and singing NY NY :)
I love shots like this. Everyone has a memory attached. My daughter and I went on a bus tour several years back, that brought us to the American Girl Doll store. We left the group after looking at the dolls and eating a wonderful lunch, and walked around,
headed towards Radio City only to find that it was the NFL draft weekend-crazy crowded. Ended up sitting on the wall at Rockefeller Center, enjoying warm pretzels and people watching. Thanks for taking us all down our own memory lanes
@seanoneill Thanks for the fav and I will have a couple more shots of Radio City in a week or so as I went there twice this day and I am doing my NYC study in chronological order
